Desired Career Path and Reasons for Choosing It

The career path I am most interested in pursuing is front-end web development.

One reason I want to become a front-end developer is that it is like being an architect. I get to have a role in planning the layout of the website and executing that plan through code. Another reason is that there is plenty of room for creativity and experimentation, especially with design. Lastly, I think front-end development is less complicated than back-end development because it deals directly with user interaction rather than data and understanding the dynamics behind data.

Tasks and Activities

• Creating the website structure/layout using HTML
• Styling page elements using CSS
• Writing JavaScript code to extend functionality
• Using code frameworks to assist with coding
• Communicating with clients about plans and progress
• Deploying a finished website to the online environment
• Monitor user traffic and make changes to the website based on user behavior
